I was going to post about it, but then that post was removed without explanation and I am having a very hard time finding all of the rules of this sub, and I saw others say that their posts about similar topics were removed. Also I don’t want to post identifying information. So I’ll have to be vague about that as well and say it was an episode of him pushing me during an argument, when he was trying to close the door of a room to get away from me and I was trying to follow him. MIL refused to help me and lied about it to my mother. I’m going to be deliberately vague here to avoid identifying information: I took legal action, SO went through extensive assessments, and I spoke with the person assigned to evaluate him as well as multiple exes of his, and the conclusion from the professional evaluation was that it was situational and unlikely to reoccur. I know it sounds like I’m making excuses for him, but I did not at the time. He was barely allowed to see LO, let alone me, for a long time.
