Would you like to have a new friend?

Hey Annie,

I just finished some headspace meditation. I'm going to head down to the basement and get a work out in. Things are different sure, but different isn't necessarily bad. I took a break-day from studying math and caught up with Coursera course, read a little more American Gods, and I gave my friends plenty of space on social media.

I've been self-quarantined as an introvert for a number of years now. I'm doing a lot of self-reflection on who I am, who I want to be, and what I want to do. I started reading a book on Buddhism which interweaves with philosophy and meditation. Tonight, my firefox pocket article suggested some stuff on Bruce Lee so I've been looking through his philosophy.

He was a very structured, meditative person, very self-assured and contemplative about his beliefs, goals and philosophy. I've gone into this quarantine realizing that by the time we're out and about again I want to be a different person, so I've been giving things some careful thought and eliminated a major vice last month. I may watch some more of the "Legend of Bruce Lee" later on Netflix; it's a long, sub-titled drama series, but (1940-1973) he led a cool life.

I'm not sleeping particularly well at the moment, but I think we're all dealing with the lockdown in various ways. Staying entertained, active, engaged; it's tricky, but we're all in this together.
