Would my in laws divorce cause me to lose my home? Please help.

Even though Kentucky isn't a community property state, in a divorce the property would probably be split more or less equally between the two of them. If the houses are valued about the same, the court could very well award each of them half the land and one house (which could get rented to you). Depends on other assets - businesses, bank accounts, etc. and what each of them wants. He may want to never see her again and just take all their other assets and leave her the houses and land. Possibilities are endless.

It's in no one's interest to kick you out without notice (which can't be done anyway as you are tenants) and let the house sit empty for years.

Keep in mind that at their age they may have done this kind of separation multiple times.

Worry about tomorrows trouble tomorrow.
