Would you get offended if you notice a stranger woman taking safety precautions when she sees you? ( eg: not going in the elevator with you, making sure her car is locked if you pass by in a parking lot, getting on the phone with someone, etc.)

I used the example of how people have justified bad things, like discrimination in the past

Right, extreme hyperbole to shame women who lock their car doors in parking lots or wait for the next lift by comparing it to *fucking Apartheid”. Come on, man.

It speaks of your ego that you think that every man who is literally existing in your same postal code is trying to hit on you or thinks you're interested in them.

You really have no idea what a strawman is, do you? No one anywhere in this entire convoluted thread said a damn thing about hitting on others. It’s all about risk assessment, top to bottom.

I don't care about if a random woman thinks me attractive or not, why would them not running away imply that?

Oh really? Then why do you expect them to accommodate you if and when they feel uneasy in your presence?

What if I stand next to someone at a bus stop that means that I'm in love with them?

Who gives a shit what you think of others? 99% of us are discussing risk assessment, why are you bringing up matters of attraction?
