Mine is traveling internationally half the time and is insanely busy with customers while he’s gone, time changes etc. he still manages to update me when he can and will sometimes text back like hours later but picking up where we left off. He updates me on flights, take off landing, locations very often. I totally understand everything you’re going through emotionally. I get cranky after a few days even though I know logically that he’s working to provide and doesn’t want to be there. My kids are very small too and he can’t call most days but we will send videos and pics back and forth, sometimes the kids make videos for him. (They’re 4&7).
