Why would race have anything to do with inequality? We are fortunate enough to live in a capitalism

It's amazing how many people talk about blacks like they're a strategic Chess piece. Like, do you actual give a shit about them? Enough to be having this engaged of a discussion?

I highly doubt it, and yes that's a basis for an actual argument - subjectivity. What is your bias? Is this simply fodder for intellectual discourse, hm? Oh did the user above you create an unfounded injustice?

You're right though, no boogeyman, it's a bunch of white people who feel insecure about racial issues (as they should) that they disregard it and make everyone who fights for unattainable equality the enemy.

And despite agreeing with Morgan Freeman's opinion on a personal level (and parts of your previous comments), I think he massively underestimates 'making it' as not just a personal achievement, but something fostered by whatever amounts of people in the world who fought against institutional [x] inequality, several of which that targeted black citizens.

Like, was ending segregation supposed to be the last thing we ever did in an effort to directly, significantly improve the cultural state of the African American community? Even if 150 years truly is enough, are you honestly arguing we should ignore trends or issues that do create inequality, especially when those trends show up as taxable.

I don't know, it has been several decades, that surely absolves us of our social responsibilities to seek civil reform or to even entertain the possibility that the government and its leadership is presently responsible for several isolated instances of ignorance at the expnse of [y] people!

I agree a lot of issues are socioeconomic first and racial second, at least these days. But how do you think it ended up that blacks ended up largely in urban environments and prison cells? I want you to start your reply with an answer to that, if you do wish to reply. Because that brings us around to the beginning of my argument - subjectivity (and a whole lot of understated privilege).
