Would you stay at a job where your not happy with the process?

I’ve seen people make an absolute wreck out of their stable lives because they were not happy. This happens a lot with divorce. There is home ownership, retirement, paid bills. All that has to be done is maintain the status quo and everything will be fine. Then, a spouse decides they are not happy. They want a divorce because they think that will make them happy. They take the plunge. The house gets sold. Divorced parents are renting far from each other. The kids start doing poorly in school, get on drugs. Parents are both depressed. Kids are depressed. That parent that thought divorce would make them happy doesn’t end up happy. They end up bitter and miserable. I’ve seen this movie. This happens to real people all of the time.
