Would you support a cnc tiberium universe reboot?

I'm going to go short here

Oh boy, here we go:

Go generals didn’t have ANY fmvs, they were only adde din zero hour, and even then on a very limited capacity. I just used the fmvs as an examplemof the cheesiness that CNBC game shave been know for. The story isn’t groundbreaking, or even terribly good, but that’s part of the charm.

People like this campiness, so much so that the most serious game in the franchise, cnc4, is also the one considered to have the worst story and lore by far.

This is already so wrong on so many levels, it would take an essay to debunk. No people don't just like campyness and chessyness. And cnc3 and kw was already serious in tone. Cnc4 story was considered the worst for other reasons and not because of the tone. That's incredibly reductive and dumb.

You CAN make a story with a purely good side and an purely evil side, just look at Star Wars. The thing here is that Nod, despite being the evil faction, is still very attractive to the player, because many of its affiliated characters are just that interesting or charismatic, beside the whole vibe the faction itself gives off. I also don’t see how I proved any pint of yours

Cnc3 and 4 already made the factions more nuanced. It wasn't all black and white. So you fail by definition here.

That’s also not true. GDI and Nod are unique first and foremost purely because they were the first (everyone copied them, not the opposite). Besides that, their designs are still particularly unique even today, specially Nod. You can’t find another rts faction that manages to blend religion, alien cristals and cyborgs so well anywhere else.

I don't want to go into detail this. Can't be arsed.

You have convinced yourself that Nod is just the terrorist faction, the GLA of the Tiberium universe, but you’re wrong. It’s so much more. Even back in tib dawn, the nod units always gave off a more “rogue nation” vibe.

No, that's not what I mean but your strawman but I don't care anymore.

They weren’t just terrorists, they were organized and had access to high tech even the GDI didn’t have (ie stealth tanks). What makes Nod unique is that they’re not a terrorist group, but not a government either. They’re something halfway between a religious milita and a super secret high tech global order. They’re less like the GLA and more like X-com. Essentially, you have to put into your head the fact that Nod isn’t just a terrorist group, they’re a secret order millennia old that just recently became know to the public eye. Your insistence in saying that Nod went from terrorist group to superpower when they were never just a terrorist group to begin with just shows me that you don’t understand the lore of the universe you want to reboot (and you don’t want to learn either, apparently)

Sure buddy...

Because of that, your comparison with drug cartels is erroneous. As for why people believe in Nod and tiberium, it’s because they believe that a) tiberium is their divine right

Whatever that means.

and b) tiberium can ascend then/transform then into something new and better. They believe in the potential of tiberium.

Okay.

Heck, these people voluntarily receive tiberium transfusions, and what do they get? They become stronger and immune to tiberium radiation. The potential of tib is enormous, and that’s what Nod believes in.

I'm not going to discuss lore with you so I'll just move on.

Tl dr:

Nod isn’t ISIS, it’s the fucking Illuminati People like the cheesiness of the story You should inform yourself of the lore before advocating for it to change

Okay.
