Within the AU I've created, Giovanni showed up on Alternia covered in wounds on every inch of his body. Let's just say going up against one thousand monsters by yourself will bring some bad wounds. He spent a good few months with them. And most, if not all, got infected and wouldn't heal. Some healed on their own.

It wasn't until two weeks after Giovanni and Lynera started their moirallegiance that he showed her. And let's just say she dropped everything she was doing and immediately started patching him up.

And Giovanni does not like being touched. ((PTSD from his brutal forty years of training really made him dislike being touched.)) And so it took hours just to get him patched up.

But you know damn well after the fact, Giovanni was extremely thankful. Being the stoic beast he is, he didn't really show his tremendous gratitude but Lynera knows how happy he is. ((The giveaway? His wagging tail.))
