As a female, I was ashamed of how this group of ladies reacted to many topics of the speech. Although I was proud to share in their happiness of a larger representation for women in Congress, it was disheartening to see their lack of happiness for low unemployment rates, and good economic news. As for the complacency they showed on late term abortions, it was appalling. I am Pro-Choice, but there is a limit to that choice. Terminating a baby anytime after the 1st trimester is wrong. (I know that many here will say that any termination is wrong - and that's your value, and I respect it.) The extremity of allowing late term abortion, will indeed cause an opposite extreme reaction to outlaw abortions altogether. The moderates on both sides of the aisle should work to make sure that the middle ground is won.
