WoW classic devs will do an AMA on 8/20 at 10 AM PST

I would rather deal with long queues at launch than have layering at all. The compromise is having layering in at all.

I know people say its only for 'phase 1', but to me that's the most important part. That's what I miss about vanilla. I want the leveling experience with the small server communities. I want to run into the same people over and over in different zones as I reexplore Azeroth. I want to see a piece of what it was like when this game first launched. This chance will never happen again and layering takes away a huge chunk of it.

I want layering out as soon as possible. I think it creates problems worse than the one it's trying to solve. I'd rather see server merges, I'd rather risk losing my reserved name in a merge. I understand not everyone feels that way, but it's my opinion and I want to voice it to the devs.

As someone else in the thread said, "pick your poison". I understand the risks and the consequences involved. Layering is not the poison I would choose.
