That is rough yo. I am white, and live in a little bubble of multiracial, multicultural, LGBT-friendly world of live theater in LA. I know I can say I don't see color all day long, and it's even true, but I also know that only white people can afford to not care about the color of other people's skin. I don't have to live my life wondering if the way I'm being treated is subtle racism, or afraid (as much) of the cops, worried about being seen as acting white because of how I talk or dress or where I live or career success...a whole host of experiences some POC have to deal with I can't even imagine.

Anyway, it's fucked. This whole country disappoints me.
