Sounds like my mother. She never took me anywhere. She would pay others to take me to places. Local parks, amusement parks, movie theater, malls, stores, baseball games, etc. It’s so weird she never did any of that with me.

She also refused to take me to school if she didn’t feel like it. I would have to call school and say my mom wasn’t feeling well.

I’ve never seen my mom go to a parent teacher conference either. She would say she had a headache and couldn’t go. I’m surprised teachers from all grades never followed up on why my mom or anyone never showed up to conferences, plays, sporting events, award ceremonies, high school graduation, college graduation. My school counselor did offer to adopt me when I was in 10th grade, at that point I didn’t want to be a part of any family.

I’m 29 now. I have ZERO contact with my family. Which is so weird? I was the only child that graduated school, went to college, my friends are great people.

Yet my brothers who are gang bangers, one of them is a pedophile, the other a woman beater get all the love and attention from my mom and other family members. I’m also the only first born American, they only cared about me turning 18 so I can fix their papers so they can becomes citizens. LOL. They really thought I’d help them after treating me like garbage for years.

Oh yeah. I’m pretty sure all my former sister in laws have plenty of content to post on this subreddit. My mom would buy them houses and cars (under my Mom’s name of course) and if my sister in laws acted out or did something to hurt my brothers poor fragile egos. My mom would use the cars, houses, private school tuition for their kids as a way to remind them she could take all that away from them.

Also reminds me, why did she never enroll me in a private school like she did to my 15 nieces and nephews? Mind you my nieces and nephews don’t even talk to my mom anymore now that they are over 18.

Sorry for ranting. I just needed to let that out. I’m in so much pain.
