[WP] You are a test subject at Aperture Laboratories prior to the GLaDOS incident. Describe your workday.

"Good Morning."

"Not this shit again it can't have been long enough."

"You have been in suspension for 5 hours."

"I fucking knew it."

"In compliance with state and federal regulations, all testing candidates in the Aperture Science Testing Candidate Containment Facility are to be...."

"Yeah, big bloody whoop. There was nothing about regulation going on down here. And they got away with it too. Because what else could I do? I had nothing. No one was there to miss me. Jeremy and Andrew picked this option just as same, and they've been nowhere since the start of this nightmare."

"Please proceed to the Hydrogen Dioxide-based renewal chamber. It will be the room marked by the green light." The plexiglas door slid to the side.

The test subject shuffled forward, shoulders hung low. He glanced nervously at the ventilation grates in the wall, then quickened his pace. "...Just not again. My eyes..." escaped his mouth. His footsteps clopping into the silence, echoing off the walls, until he stopped in front of the first door in the hallway. It noiselessly slid agape. With his head hung low, the test subject stood in the middle of the room, which was as empty and white as the last. Without a warning, clear liquid violently gushed from the ceiling, bringing the test subject to his knees. A buzzer sounded and he began gasping for air, as the stream subsided.

"Please proceed to the designated testing outlet." The subject stood back up, but his knees continued shaking. Water dripped from his unkempt chin. His eyes wide, the subject stepped back out into the pristine white hall and began walking towards the far door.

"You will be testing the Repulsion Gel experimental technology at this point in time. The Aperture Science Guided Transportation Chamber will take you to the appropriate testing area."

His eyes wide and glazed over, the test subject entered the elevator, and heard it snap shut with a violent twang, before the lighting on the inside was decreased to 0.

An indistinguishable amount of time later, the elevator came to a sudden stop and blasted the test subject with light. His eyes dilated quickly and he put his hand over his face instinctively. Walking forward he was left in a chamber that was featureless except for a perfectly symmetrical pit in the middle of the room, coated in a blue plate, and a small room in the upper levels, where a layer of frosted glass covered two figures, dressed in white.

"Jump." was the one word command that came, in a robotic, blurred voice.

"Kill me..." Whispered the test subject. "Make this nightmare end."

He fell forward and in an instant he heard a loud snap, looking back up at some pristine white ceiling.

The Panel he was on suddenly began lowering, taking him into a dark abyss with nothing more than a mechanical whirling sound. As the subjects eyes glazed over and he released a bone-dry gasp that remained unheard, he could listen to the quietest voice say above him "Then I guess the stuff makes em jump, eh? I think we've got it, we can try the experiment group tomorrow."

And then all was dark.

...

"Good morning, you have been in suspension for 15 weeks."
