[WP] You have been in prison for the majority of your life, today is your release day.

It's kind of tough being in the most secured prison for your entire life. Most people get born in a hospital, not a closet in a women's supermax off a side hallway with an inmate delivering you and a couple guards standing watch. I didn't even have a foster family but I did get to get raised by some inmates who were kind enough to pass me around whenever they could spare some time.

It was also tough having to educate myself but I at least got to busy myself in the prison library sometimes and read the few books there. Compared to outside I think I at least got an ok education. I also got to play with the older male inmates and other kids a lot since the guards would sneak me around; as a son I needed fathers so there was no shortage even though I didn't know who my mom was.

There wasn't always a lot to do but it could've been a lot worse. I'm not on the streets or a criminal, and I'm not a drug addict. I got to work out a lot and am in pretty good shape, enough to fight off people once in a while. Sometimes they fuck with you, I've been fucked with a few times but usually do ok.

I guess the main drawback is the guards, since most of them are ok but a lot are mean. Sometimes they beat you up for no reason. I think they're sad they're stuck working in here. Some of them had real good jobs before the recession. Most of them I avoid but there are a few that I like.

Today I'm getting out to join the Army. I think most of the kids here do the same thing. When we turn 18 we can finally get recruited so we have somewhere to go. It's not great staying inside too long but you don't want to leave without a plan. Plus I guess a lot of the people who come up in here do ok in the Army since we've been fucked with a lot. There are three of us leaving in the next few days so I guess we'll be going to war together against some other country's child inmates.
