The ten eyed angel smiled. From his sleeves, he grabbed a key. Then he thrusted the key into the air in front of him, and turned it. After a brief moment of silence, he withdrew three steps, then the shadow swallowed him, and he was gone.

Days past, then months, then years, and I still had not witnessed any change at all. The world was still the same. My father was the chief of police, and he also didn't seem to notice anything different. I began to wonder if it was all only a dream. A child's world is a curious one, and their memory are easily influenced by imagination.

It was approximately five years after i met the ten-eyed angel. I had never thought about it since about three years. It was around then when our family was on a trip to Japan. On that particularly sunny day, i heard a loud bang in the blue sky. My family just stood in place with eyes upward. That was the day when 'the five' arrived.

In the instant they arrived, they took control of the whole world. Humanity's vast assortments of weapons and battle strategies are no use against them. They control storms, oceans, mountains, even celestial bodies are under their command. With a single slash, one of them reduced mount fuji's height by half. They know everything and anything, every strategy is naked before them, and all speech useless. They can speak every language, they can even talk to machines. No security in the world can obstruct them, they can enter into any system and do whatever they want.

During that moment, there was no me... or you... or any other person. There was only 'them'. The five.

They never told us what they want. They left without even talking to us. But their arrival made humanity understands : we are not alone. We are living like a bird in a lion's cage. The only thing that's stopping them is the little wall between them and us. And I'm afraid i had destroyed that wall.
