[WP] Looking into the camera on your phone you jokingly say, "Hey, NSA, if you want to go out on a date, gimme a call!" To your surprise, suddenly the phone rings! "H-hello?" "Hi! I'm from the NSA."

My eyes burned, I'd been staring at this screen for what felt like years, nothing interesting ever happened on phone spy duty, best thing I could hope for was a mirror selfie to brighten my day, she was beautiful though.

I felt like I knew her intimately, her daily habits, her friends, what her favourite flavour of pizza topping was... Talk about a one sided relationship. I had no chance with a girl like that anyway, her being a beautiful, blonde bombshell and me; A semi balding, glorified bureaucrat.

Dazed and pondering my life choices, I notice she picked up her phone. Was she making a call? No, just using it as a mirror to apply makeup, must be a date night. Who's the lucky guy?

She waits by the phone, checking the time, pacing back and forth then checking the time again. He must be running late, time is passing and her face looks more and more defeated. Finally she slumps back down on the couch for a night of depression induced binge watching.

'Oh good, another night of this' I thought to myself. I just wished I could reach through the phone and hug her, tell her it's all going to be ok and she'll meet the right one eventually. I settle down for a long night of voyeurism.

Again she reaches for her phone, I lean in close to the screen to catch what she's doing. "Hey... umm... NSA?" SHIT, does she know I'm watching? FUCK, I'm going to have to report this to my supervisors and file a report, then she'll probably get taken to gitmo and... "If you want to go out on a date, gimme a call!". Wow, is she really talking to me? Fuck, I'm going to get fired. I ponder my next move, I COULD call her, I'm sure nobody would notice, right?

Days passed and the thought of her words never left my mind. Would she even like me if she met me? Screw it, I'm going to call her. Throwing all caution to the wind I dialed her number, Oh god this was so wrong, what if she's creeped out and... 'Hello?', it was her. She was acknowledging me, 'Yeah uhh... hi' I replied 'Hello what do you want?' she sounds angry, I've offended her, I hung up. It was a stupid idea anyway.

As you grew older you realized the danger of going out into the woods and stopped visiting them. Turns out, the cryptids had fond memories of your antics and want to come and see you again. [WP] You are a supervillain who went undercover as a superhero for jokes, only to discover how corrupt the system is in the hero society. The system is so corrupt that you agree to lead a small group of superheroes to rebel against the unjust hero society.
