Don Rogers unlocked his secret treasure chest and pulled out the com link. Dialing it to twelve he pressed send and spoke into the transiever.
"Becca did you hear from Ghonabno?"
Ten seconds later the reply came.
"No! But I had the strangest nightmare. A black man stole Ghabno. But he had no face!"
Don cursed under his breath, "Oh no!"
"What is it Don?"
"Your mother never told you but you have Quantum Sight."
"What!?! Like Lina of Quantum Force!?"
"Indeed. In fact, she is your long lost sister. Well not lost. We just lied to you your entire life."
Silence for eight seconds and then her voice came through the comm with intensity, "What the fuck man!!!!! WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK!?"
Don slammed the com link down with intensity for effect and then picked it up before speaking again, "Dammit woman it's not that simple!"
"How???"
"You actually had three sisters. Lina, Cara and Rita. Black Man killed Cara and Rita when he learned they were Lina's sisters. They had to hide you for protections!!!!"
"Whaaaaaat!!!"
"It's true. When you were born they sent you to Xandos for protection and he hid you with your adopted mother and father. It was a secret to everyone."
"Not you apparently!"
"Yes. Lina had me make contact with you to keep tabs on your ability. Now its time that you meet, because your power has surfaced!"
"Don! What did I see!"
"You saw through time, as your sisters could and your mother before them. We need to get to Quantum Base. Can you meet me and Ruths Diner?"
"I can't. Because Ruth is dead and the diner closed."
Don almost dropped the com link, "W..what??"
"Hahaha you see, I've been working for Black Man all along, and I didn't need to see it in a vision, because I helped him capture Ghabno. You are a fool to think you can stand against us!!! And now, we have traced this call!"
Don backed up and dropped the com link. He pulled out his Quantum Phone and pressed the emergency button, but it was too late. Ten bullets pierced his face and his head exploded in a mass of grime.
It was a dark day for Quantum Force.
