[WP] A single father and his grown up single son discover they have been dating a Mother and Daughter respectively. Knowing that one must end their relationship, the discuss a course of action.

"Well I don't see why either of us would have to give in." Carson crossed his arms over his chest, leant against his truck and waited for his son to respond.

"It's like this, pa. If you marry Sheila, then I'm gonna be datin' my step-sister. Tiff can't be my girlfriend and my step-sister - it's just wrong!" Bubba could feel his face growing red and hot - it always did when he go excited. He took the battered cap he always wore off momentarily and ran his hands through his greasy hair.

"Aw hell. I see it now. If I marry Sheila and you still date that Tiffany, you'd be datin' Sheila's daughter, who'd be my step-daughter on account of me marrying 'er ma, which'd make 'er your step-sister. Jesus christ Bubba! That ain't right! Now, you now I'm a God-fearin' man. There's gotta be somethin' against this sorta thing in the good-book!" Carson was starting to get worried. Ever since his wife had left him for that city slicker, he'd kept his distance from women - that was until he laid eyes on Sheila. Beautiful Sheila, with all her teeth intact and her hair permed to perfection. He wasn't ready to give her up. He placed a small amount of dip between bottom lip and gums and chewed thoughtfully.

"Look son, you know I love you and respect you and all, but you're just gon' have to break it off with the Tiffany girl. I always liked her, but you gotta understand - what me and Sheila have is special. Heck, I love her more than I did your old woman!"

Bubba glared at his father and threw his cap down in anger. "Nu-uh. I ain't givin' my Tiff up. If you wanna make this not weird, you say goodbye to Sheila!"

Carson wasn't a man known for being violent, but in a split second he had grabbed the front of his son's shirt. "Now you listen here, boy. And you best listen well. Sheila? She's good to me. You're young and you got years and years ahead of you. You got time to find "the one", but this may be my last chance."

"What in the hell is going on out here?" Suzie walked out of the family trailer to see her father and brother arguing.

"This dun' concern you Suzie! Go inside!" Bubba shot a warning glance at his sister.

"'Ey! You don't talk to yer sister like that, you hear?" Carson shoved his son.

"Are you still fightin' over who gets to keep the girl?" Suzie put her hands on her hips and shook her head.

"Shame on the both of you! You're family! You should learn to be ambecile!"

"Don't you mean amicable?" Bubba smirked at his sister.

"Shut up Bubba! Point is, I think I found you two a loop hole!" Carson and Bubba now gave their full attention to Suzie.

"Bubba, if you marry Tiffany. She'll be your wife. That way pa's only marrying your mother-in-law and you don't end up marrying your step-sister." Suzie waited for her news to sink in. Bubba was the first to speak up.

"Holy cow Suze, you are a freakin' genius!" He picked his dirty cap off the ground and ruffled his sisters hair. Carson smiled.

"I always knew sending you off to tech college was a smart idea, Suzie girl. You keep this up and you'll make a fine lawyer or somethin' someday!"
