[WP] Space enthusiasts finally find a signal from space which is likely from an intelligent species. Upon reviewing the signal, which is about 62 light-years away, they realize it is a space probe sent out from Earth, over 400,000 years ago... still recording/communicating back home.

I opened the drawer of the oaken desk one last time, the dust glinting in the light off the brass handle. The wheels creaked slowly to reveal the last few pages I had saved in the desk, those special ones I had to hold on to for years and years Five were from the Space Station, two were from Columbia, three were from New Horizons, one was from Opportunity, and another was from Curiosity. My finger slowly

There was a sudden, loud set of bangs on my door, and as I reached for the handle, it burst open and hit me in the stomach.

"Sorry about that, buddy, but we need you downstairs. Now." Nice to see you too. How's the wife?

"Dr. Redding! It's certainly a surprise to see you here. Come in and sit down, and don't worry about rearranging the couch pillows; they're all going in the trash anyways."

"There's no time to sit down, Dr. Cameron. We need you on the control floor immediately. It's big." I waited for some sort of continuation as Dr. Redding leaned against the door frame, eyes bulging and chest heaving, but after a more-than-awkward pause, I started to lose my patience.

"What's big?"

"We've found a signal coming from behind the Jovian system, and I think your expertise might be just what we're looking for."

"Alright, but I need you to brief me. I've been a bit busy as of late, and I don't know what the control room has been up to since Saturday..."

"The message seems to be written in some form of quaternary, apparently, and we've had the best codebreakers over from the FBI working since noon- Ah, here it is. Thank you for those. This is Dr. Gutierrez, of course, from the Deep Space Network division. Dr. Gutierrez, this is Dr. Cameron of the Unmanned Mission division."

"Dr. Redding, if you could please
