[WP] Time freezes around you. Once a year has passed, it unfreezes. All around the world is gripped by mass hysteria of the messages you left.

He started with all the sights in North America first, since that is where he was located and therefor the easiest, traveling on his neighbors Harley. He then took the yacht of some frozen rich smuck and drove it down to South America. Once he was satisfied with that he came back up and went to Europe. He marveled at all the wonderful things that were on this earth. From the natural beauties of nature to the creative beautifies of man. All the cultures lost in the damned frozen hell. As cheesy at it was he wrote on them all too. Or carved, I was here. Tom was here. Then at long last he’d seen everything he wanted to see so he traveled back his hometown. It was October 27, 2020 at 6:02 a.,m when he finally made it back. He hadn’t planned on re-entering his home but he thought if he was going to kill himself he mind as well go see one last time. He opened his door and to his right in the kitchen was Elizabeth. She hadn’t moved an inch or aged a day. He however now had a full grown beard which he didn’t have when he left and significantly more fat on his belly. He walked up to his wife. “Lizzie?” No response. He sighed and bowed his head. Then he leaned in and kissed her lips one last time. He then went up to his daughters room. Sarah still staring at the unmoving image on the TV screen and Cassie still holding that Barbie doll up in the air. He came in and kissed them both on the forehead. “I love y’all so much.” He tenderly said, “I hope y’all knew that” He then approched his bedroom and pulled the gun from his the safe in his closest. He had already decided a year ago where he was going to do it. Back where it all started. Back to exactly where he was then the whole world froze. He decided to return his neighbors motorcycle. If this was his last day on earth he wanted to make the most of it. Take one last look at this town he grew up in, met his wife in, got married in, and had planned to raise their kids in. He got to the mall and looked at his watch; 5:16 p.m. He calmly strolled his way up to where he was when this event started. He looked at all the faces around him and remembered them perfectly. Had that day a year ago gone on like any other day he’d have never remembered them at all, but now they are forever etched into his brain, or for the next ten minutes at least. At 5:56 he got into postition. say goodbye Tom, he thought to himself “Goodbye, Tom” he said with a chuckle. His humor always was corny. He put the gun up to his temple with one hand and starred at his watch with anohter. Ten seconds til 5:57; five, four, three, two, one. He pulled the trigger the second the world started to move again. Everyone around him ducked and panicked. One moment everything was normal, the next this dude up and killed himself. Someone called 911 and everybody took several steps away from the body. It was clear from the head wound he was dead so nobody bothered trying to revive him. It was 5:57 at the Ellington residence. Elizabeth Ellington was in the middle of chopping carrots when the just disappeared. “What the heck!” she exclaimed, pulling the earbuds out of her ear. They were there literally a second ago and now their gone. How? Then she noticed what tasted like her husbands breath on her lips, from the kiss he’d given her when she was frozen, but he was nowhere to be found. Then even more to her shock she noticed the diamond necklace around her neck and freaked the freak out. She took it off faster than she could process and slammed it on the counter. I didn’t put that on this morning she thought, I’ve never even seen that before. What’s going on? I must be going crazy After about 15 minutes of trying to process this, her phone starting to ring. “Hello” “Is this Elizabeth Ellington?” “It is, may I ask what this is regarding?” “There’s been an incident at Watermill Mall with your husband, would you mind coming down to the police station? “What?! Is he okay? What happened? “Ma’am, I believe its best if you come down and we talk in person.” “I’ll on my way.” she said as she hung up the phone. What the heck did he do? she thought to herself. She took the kids over to their neighbors house and asked if they could watch them. Their teenage son was all upset because he thought somebody had been using his motorcycle, but they assured her they could hand it so she left them there and headed to the police station. It was there that she learned, to her utter heartbreak what her husband had done. She didn’t believe it. Even when she saw the security footage of it. She was just in shock. She wept. It wasaround 9:15 when the police ended their question of her and she got a call from the neighbors asking when they’d be back. She realized she had to go home, there was much to deal with, emotional, legally, financially, but she had to be strong in this moment. She was headed to leave when an officer stopped her, “Mrs. Ellington?” She turned around and looked at the officer. “I’m so sorry for your loss. These were on your husbands person. I thought you might want them” He handed her his clothing. On top was his watch, his wedding wind, and a journal. “Thank you officer.” she managed to muster out before turning around and walking out the door. She went to get the kids and put them to bed. “Where’s daddy?” they asked, “I want him to read us a bed time story.” “Daddy isn’t here right now” She responded. She couldn’t lie to them, but she couldn’t tell them the whole truth either. At least not at this minute. She needed to process it herself a bit more. After they were tucked in she grabbed Tom’s things off the counter and took them up to their bedroom and wept on their bed. At about 11:56 P.M she finally got the courage to open up his journal. Maybe that would give insight as to why he did this. It was there she read about all Tom went through or thought he went through. He recorded it all. Fuck Tom, if you were struggled than you could have told us, could have told somebody! she thought. She read the whole journal all the way up to day. She was angry about how much foresight he put into this. He had a journal entry from a YEAR AGO about how everybody was supposedly frozen and now exactly a year later he decided to kil himself citing the same reason. She looked over at his watch which showed a date of October 28th 12:09 a.m. Now she was just sad. He truly wasnt well, was he? I’m his wife. How could I have not known? He seemed happy? She needed to take her minds off things, so see turned on the tv. “BREAKING NEWS!” the anchor said, “A crazy phenomenon has occurred all over the globe and scientist are struggling to figure it out. It appears sights all over the world from Stonehenge in England to ancient pyriamids in Mexico all have a message transcribed on them. The message reads “I was here. Tom was here” Elizabeth bolted up in shock. This can’t be, yet it was. She finally believed what her husband wrote in his journal. I finally believed what he wrote in his journal. My name is Elizabeth Ellington. My husbands name was Tom. I don’t know why this happened. I don’t now how this happened. It’s the year 2020 and I’m the only one who knows it. At this moment I’m still processing it all. I don’t know what to do. What to tell our kids. What to tell and not to tell to the world. Will people find out who wrote the message and come after us? I don’t know? I loved my husband. I still love my husband. I wish he I just would’ve waited one more day. Or maybe doing what he did is what broke it. I don’t ? All I know is writing my husbands story has helped me process this, so thank you for reading. Good bye.
