[WP] In a world where right handed people are born with only a right arm and left-handed people with only a left, write a story as an ambidextrous person.

Tony made this choice, he could have had the surgery when he was younger, but he couldn't put that debt on his mother. It's not so bad actually; after a while, the stares become more and more tolerable, most of them are pity stares...it's the mean glares he needs to watch for, most because they will follow up with either glass or rocks being thrown at him. The whispers aren't so bad either actually, they've all become the same white noise to him. He's actually going...

"Hey Mista, you ain't got no arm!" a little boy screams at him, as if Tony is deaf too.

"Yeah, and you got one."

"But why you only got one, you lose it or somten?"

"I was actually born without it."

"So yah didn't have no Other Half to switch with. Then they'd be a freak like you!"

"Yeah...a freak like me," he says solemnly.

"How do yah put your undies on? How do yah write?"

"I uhh...well I don't write, I say what I think cause I can't write it down like you."

"My momma say that our Other Half's arm is the most important part of our body. She say that you can't trust no one who don't have one cause then it means you can't be trusted to take care of their stuff neither."

"You know that I could actually accept either kind of arm right? At least that's what the doctors tell me."

"My momma got a name for people like you too, she say a man wit no arm you can't trust. A man wit two is a cheat or a thief, or both."

"I can safely say that I'm neither of those things."

"She say you'd say dat, all no arms are untrustworthy and liars."

"Ever hear the word bigot?"

"No sir."

Tony laughs before shaking his head, "Listen, it's been nice talking to you, but you should run off before someone sees you talking to me."

"Yeah, momma be steamin if she saw yah talking to me. You're nice tho...I thought you'd run me off like a monster."

"Usually the other way around, stay safe kid," Tony says, standing up before nodding to the kid goodbye as the boy runs off.

He begins imagining himself with having two arms but immediately remembers that the stares of pity would be replaced by envy. He shakes off the thought before smiling and pretending to ice skate on the wet ground; happy he could make a friend for a change.

Sorry if it's not formatted right, I'm on mobile. Also sorry if it's too dark, didn't mean for it to turn out like that originally but I'm bad at comedy lol.
