Leyla Hirsch and Shida on Dark was really great and I hope Leyla gets to shine like that again tonight. I love Dark, but not every match is essential. I'd call this one essential watching. Highly recommended.

It was great to see people enjoying her work in the live thread. That said, as I've read my fair share of "lul, there's no women for AEW to even hire" posts, I'd like point out that people have been bringing up Hirsch's name in responses to that question for a while now. This dynamic has played out a few times just recently, with Nicole Savoy in the tag tournament and Thunder Rosa jumping to mind. You see comments like sign this woman. Who is she? Where did she come from? Etc

This is not to chastise folks for not knowing these workers, there's a lot of wrestling out there and you don't know what you don't know, but to say that maybe it isn't true that there are no women out there to hire for your upstart division (though I think half the people saying there's no one to hire really mean there's no marquee, Sasha Banks-level names to hire, to be fair).
