Americans are indoctrinated into the Realpolitik/Schmittian world view that life is perpetual conflict, not amongst classes but against foreign nations, cultures, religions, races, etc. This is obviously a deflection of our actual grievances generated from class conflict, by they are understood through this very limited cultural context (i.e. wokies don't get mad at the capitalist system that disproportionately harms minorites, they get mad at white people. conservatards don't get mad at the rich importing migrants to slave away for poverty wages, they get mad at the immigrants themselves). Cultural propaganda, conservative or liberal, has deemed people as responsible for why your life sucks so much, rather than the system itself. So instead of going after the boss, people go after their coworkers(FedEx), classmates (school shootings), or community members(Boulder, CO; El Paso, TX).
