Hi all, I’m selling my rare Seiko SCVE003 (red dot ver.). I’m selling it for $700 OBRO not including PayPal fees and delivery. I’m in Australia so please be aware of what your country’s import taxes are – I’m not responsible for them. I’m am not the first owner of this watch and have personally worn it quite a few times. When I received the watch, it was well worn as you can see from the pictures. You can see the bracelet is well used, there are some light scratches on the case which can be polished out, and also 3 or so very minor scratches on the part of the crystal edge where it domes, which is very hard to notice. The biggest ‘quirk’ this particular watch has if you look closely at the 24hr red subdial between the 18-21 numerals, there’s this clear substance which I think is dried glue. I don’t know how it got there but was annoyed about it since I got it online and it had made no mention of this, the good thing is that it is not noticeable unless you shine a big bright light on it like in the pictures or look at it from weird angles whilst wearing the watch. I had a chat with my local Seiko AD about it and we reckon the watch got fiddled with in the past, but he checked it and said it is a genuine Seiko watch. Watch runs about -25 secs/day when I wore it but is within the +45/-35 secs range of the 4R37A movement. It doesn’t come with papers as I didn’t get them when I received this watch, it only comes with black box shown in pic. Oh, one more thing, when I got the watch it came with the bracelet which just fits my 6.5” wrists, but I’m sure you all know the watch is versatile with its strap choices. Sorry for all this rambling, I just want to be transparent about the condition of the watch. Hopefully it finds a new home where someone can enjoy the ‘quirks’ that this watch brings.
