Yeah. I just bought a PS3 on the grounds that I wanted a Blu-ray player for downstairs and ...oh wait what it plays games as well didn't notice that, well, I may have to live with it. Oh and the PS4 that just joined it, well my friend at school work was selling it cheap (oops, already used that excuse in 1992 and got a bollocking...er...)

Just like my mum was the first person in her street to have a dishwasher when they came out in the early 80s. Doctor's orders, you see. Chapped hands from too much washing up. She and her friends had never seen glasses so clean.

I live on my own though so the excuse stuff is only needed when my mum comes over to clean up without my permission. Also, I have to have something to lure my nephews over to the dark side because my sister only lets them play computer games because their cousins play and to her they're one stop short of witchcraft. Now, that's a brilliant excuse to buy the C64 Maxi so they can learn to programme a forty year old system...
