Wvw population how can the wvw team fix it? Is it impossible?

It isn't impossible to fix, you could move away from the outdated server system and use campaigns, alliances of guilds and cap the numbers in an alliance to prevent stacking, etc.

But really that is only part of the issue, for example they have been hemorrhaging players in WvW (and PvP), because with powercreep from HoT added on top of the powercreep from goign to 3 full traitlines, combat in those modes is the most tedious, low skilled it has ever been, with the least build variety ever, so are they really going to fix that, doubtful.

Then you also have that WvW has an RvR mode is pretty badly designed, you have what is supposed to be a mass scale PvP mode with I quote "massive battles" where the actual mechanics of the mode in terms of "winning" the PPT are entriely contrary to that, as they encourage avoiding fights, e.g - you see the other two servers fighting you go slam down 8 rams at a tower and PvDoor whilst the other server is distracted, or server A wipes to server B twice, server A then map jumps and goes to PvDoor, waypoints/ runs on sight when they see server B coming, goes pvDoor somewhere else.

Given it seems to take Anet an age to change the smallest of things, even fixing just the population imbalance seems unlikely, let alone the rest, the game mode, and the game are largely done.
