I agree full-heartedly. Think about it. This is supposed to be a MAJOR PPV. One of the big four. Yet BOTH of your major main events ended in a dirty finish. Your "winner take all" match ended in celebrity involvement. Sound familiar? Granted I like Jon Stewart and this is absolutely nothing against him (as well as being a fan of Seth Rollins), it's very similar to WCW 2000 booking with celebrity involvement in your championship matches. Granted it may get a better look right now because it was against Cena, it doesn't change the fact that this is exactly what WCW did in 2000. I don't like Cena, but even I have to admit that was bullshit. Worst of all, we just witnessed one of the most horrible finishes in PPV history. Look, if you're going to make Taker tap, you may as well make him lose cleanly as well. It would create a shock factor to see Undertaker tap and lose in a legitimate match. All you're doing is making him look like a bitch especially with all these low blows. A match that has been 16 months in the making, and that is your finish? Horrible. It was poorly executed and it made Taker look weak. As angry as we were at the streak ending at the time, Lesnar STILL won clean. Why not have Lesnar win clean again by submission? I was personally pulling for Taker to get his revenge, but I am a fan of both guys and if Lesnar won cleanly, pin or submission, I would have been fine with that too on the condition that it was a CLEAN FINISH. I just wonder if Vince decided he was in the mood for some WCW 2000 and decided to come up with this garbage while drinking Kevin Dunns kool-aid. Surely this is really going to help your already horrible ratings once the annual Monday Night Football ass whopping kicks in. And after what we saw at Takeover compared to Summerslam? It's clearly obvious that it's time for Vince to step down. As bad as the product has been, I haven't labeled it 2000 WCW bad....until tonight. Maybe i'm over-reacting. Maybe i'm reacting at a reasonable level. Just really concerning when I can easily compare WCW 2000 booking to this level of garbage we saw tonight.
