[x-post] I want a hysterectomy. How hard is it to get one?

Ive found that as a trans person it seems to be easier than when cis people want it done.Perhaps because we have a partially medical reason for ours vs "just life choices" which is debatable but whatever. also the more information you have before you go to the doctor the better. I literally told my doctor i the specific type of hysto i wanted and why and it only took that one visit to have it schedules within the next month or so. Honestly it was easier to schedule than my top surgeon because I had to travel halfway across the country for that one to get the aesthetic results I wanted. All my procedures have been easy to obtain. I absolutely second r/childfree though they have excellent resources for this.
