Ya know, fanboyism in all forms of entertainment has been around for ages. Whether it be TV, film, music, or video games. Yet, the levels of fanboy toxicity in gaming surpasses them all. There is nothing wrong with an occasional jab here and there from the companies themselves (like the Sega does what Nintendon't ad or the PS4 used game sharing video), but the hate levels between current gen is crazy. You can argue one side is worse than the other, but regardless it sucks all around.
