Don’t bother on Mac. I have an Xbox too and used to stream on Mac and 1) you get no solution when asking for help when your stream has issues because no one knows the answer (including obs, elgato, this reddit, streaming groups on discord) and 2) your Mac just can’t do it. It’s too limited. I streamed on Mac for over 6 months with obs and elgato and I gave up. Lost viewers and potential followers too because the quality was horrible. There was always lag, frames skipping, delays, audio issues. I got a cheap crappy Windows laptop for streaming and it was so much better, still use that to this day. My Macbook Pro is now my chat monitor. Honestly I would just stream from your Xbox and see if you like streaming and then maybe look into expanding. Not to rain on your parade but streaming on Mac has given me such headaches and frustration... you can always try of course, if you have a capture card, but when the issues start to pop up there is no real tech support for Mac. (Some people have tried to help though, lots of nice people out there).
