Thing is that he got enough rich friends and relatives that will help him so he won't have to worry about it, but there's at the absolute least one person that either got addicted to gambling or continues gambling because of X and there's nothing and nobody that can help them and they will or already have ended their lives.
Couple of years ago we had gambling issue across our country, there were no regulations or anything against gambling so suddenly many big online gambling sites popped-up, their ads were everywhere - they would randomly just text you on your phone and give you offers that seemed unreasonably good just go get you start gambling and you can't even delete or stop your account after you sign up. There were many reports of people killing themselves or their relatives for money, at some point there were new regulations and their advertising stopped being so vicious, but that shit is still an issue here, just recently few months ago some dude killed his parents and burned his house because he gambled his money away and wanted to rob his parents dry.
I understand watching this lunatic gamba on stream was entertaining and fun, but at the same time it's just so fucked..
