Thank you! No one is saying that Jules hooking up with Elliot was right but Rue's also to blame too like you said. The whole relationship was literally hanging by a thread and even I, a Rules shipper knew right from episode 201 that it wasn't going to last long when they made up at the end of the episode. Elliot's character was basically to expose the cracks in the foundation.

Jules telling Leslie about Rue doing opiates again has been one of the bravest and most matured decision she has made on the show. If was that easy, Hell Ali would have told on her when he met Rue's mom for the first time in episode 2. Jules has made some mistakes and so has Rue too but they really do love and care about each other. It's just not the best time for them to be in a romantic relationship.
