Yale Students To Prof Who Denies Coaching Kavanaugh Clerks: You’re Lying

When you said, we shouldn't assume he's guilty of other assaults, that comes across as if you're saying he's guilty of this assault. Perhaps that wasn't your intention.

There are reasons to be cynical, in a healthy manner, of the accusation - which is another reason why an investigation should be done. I want that, and if he's proven guilty, charge him. But what I'm not so sure of is if she's lying, if it's exaggerated or fabricated, then should she be convicted of anything? Personally, I don't think so. This was along time ago and will be nearly impossible to prove. But if that's the case, this is a win-win situation for the democrats. It could be a delay/smear tactic with no 'real' consequences (obv there are for her). My feelings are she was led to believe her anonymity would remain and was told there would be a quick decision to remove him.
