I think a lot of the fans ur referencing here are young teens who see gizz members as heros or idols or whatever. It makes sense that they're geeking out over them and hyping them up as much as they do. I saw someone else in the comments here mention how some fans just don't get the sarcasm/humor that the band puts out there sometimes- they take everything they say literally such as with the acid situation. Tbh I think a large portion of those moments can be attributed to some fans with social learning disabilities and some who simply haven't developed the ability to pick up on sarcasm yet. Doesn't mean it isn't cringe... but I think we can't blame the fans for it.
