I only shitpost when people bring a lot of emotion into things, trolling others because either they get paid when I respond or maybe they realize being a troll isn’t a good way to get the average person, or “bag holder,” to fall in line. Someone just made a post that actually helps these folks out and explains the shift in sentiment in a way that makes sense and puts conspiracy theories to rest. Trolling inflames things more, not really the right way to go, again, unless you’re getting paid to do it. Taking an extra 30 seconds to educate some stranger who feels lost doesn’t cost you a lot, but it could save a life.
