A year and a half after Sweden decided not to lock down, its COVID-19 death rate is up to 10 times higher than its neighbors

cherrypicked, very selective, very small comparative groups tend to be misleading. i could take nearly any country in the world and compare them to Norway and Finland -- and then create an outrageous sounding, but factually true headline. Alternatively, I could do the same with the US as a comparison and make most countries look wise in their policy choice (Sweden death rate 25% LESS than US or UK without restricting freedoms or destroying economy). Also, a focus only on one item, is misleading. I assume sweden took this approach to maintain their economy and individual freedoms. it is also true to say that their economy did 2x better than rest of EU factual, but incomplete.
