I just bought it. I have Doom Eternal Standard Edition through the Bethesda launcher instead of Steam. But I thought I'd take a chance and follow through with the DLC purchase on Steam anyway, knowing that I can just get a refund for it if it doesn't work since I don't own the Base game there — doing it because you can save money overall with the Pass instead of buying the DLC's separately. And now Doom Eternal Standard Edition shows up in my Steam library. So maybe it gave me Doom Eternal + the Year 1 Pass for just the cost of the Pass? Not sure, but I have Eternal downloading through Steam right now. I'll see if access to the base game is actually there and update this post to let people know.
