The Yearly Roundup~~~~~~!

BEST: Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream - holy crap best thing I have ever used on my skin. Before I started using this my skin was always dehydrated and flaky but since I've been using it, my skin has been incredibly soft, smooth and hydrated. I recently ran out of it and noticed that the redness I used to have on my cheeks are coming back (I find it so much more noticeable this time around since I wasn't used to any redness in the last 4 months or so) and my skin just hasn't been as plump and bouncy. Basically once I ran out, I realized what a huge difference this was making and just how much my skin needs it. Definite HG. I plan on getting tons of backups so I never run out!

Benton Snail Bee High Content Skin + Essence - I absolutely love these two products. This instantly calms and soothes my skin. I absolutely cannot live without them. (Last night my boyfriend tried out my AHA serum and had a horrible reaction where his skin became inflamed, red and bumpy and the combination of all three Benton Snail Bee products fixed up his skin instantly. It was kind of amazing to watch tbh.) Definitely HG products.

Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream - another product that I will never stop using. This has brightened and firmed up my under eye areas so well. Just two weeks into using this product, I received tons of comments about how great my under eye area looked. And I'm saving much more on concealer now :p

Mamonde Rose Water Foam Cleanser - I've never felt serious love for cleansers because they are all pretty much the same but this one... oh man... I decided to try it out because it has 44% rose water and I love rose skin care products and I seriously love it. It feels gentle, leaves my face feeling really soft and smooth and bouncy. It also didn't feel stripping at all and my face felt slightly moisturized. I had my mom try it and she loves it too. I already want to repurchase it but I hope that it'll have a low pH so that I can stop looking for my HG cleanser.

Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil - This one I bought because I love the green apple scent/flavour and I regret nothing. It smells amazing and it works really well. It takes off my makeup and makes my skin glow-y (especially when I use it after my charcoal clay mask) and doesn't irritate my skin or eyes at all and I have very sensitive eyes.

Nature Republic Gel Polishes - these are so cheap on RRS. they are cute and last long enough and i love the how opaque they are.

Innisfree Apple Juicy Lip & Eye Makeup Remover (Emulsion) - really moisturizing, does not irritate my eyes and does a great job taking off tough waterproof mascara.

Ciracle Pink Powder Spot Treatment - This is another hero product. Zaps my pimples over night. I've never found something that works this fast. Used it on my boyfriend as well and same results! And I think it works really well with my Benton products too.

MEH: The Face Shop Face It Velvet Primer - Well this is the first primer I've ever tried and imo, it does a good job. It's very silicone-y which I didn't mind. I thought it prepped my skin well for foundation and my foundation applies and looks really great whenever I use this primer. It makes my makeup last a really long time as well. It has a nice finish and makes my skin feel super silky and smooth. However, I wish it controlled oil better because my cheeks tend to start looking a little shiny after a while. So the primer search continues for me.

Clio Kill Black Gel Liner - I am so in love with this. It doesn't smudge or budge in anyway once it sets and I love that it doesn't drag. I was ready for it to be my HG but I hate that it's not just automatic. I hate the little sharpener it comes with because I always end up breaking the tip no matter how gentle I am. And it's just such a slow process because damn it's soft. So I hope they'll release an automatic sharpening one so I can give Clio more of my money.

WORST: The Face Shop Kiwi Wash-Off Pack - Used it once and it ended up giving my some sort of rash near my mouth. It was horrible and embarrassing and ugh it took forever to heal. And my skin is pretty tough and can handle a lot and yeah, I hate it and what a waste of money. It did seriously brighten my skin temporarily though so I guess that's something.

Nature Republic Argan 20 Steam Emulsion - Okay so this product isn't actually horrible or anything I just sort of resent it. I've been using it since I ran out of my Benton Steam Cream so it just doesn't live up. It's not a bad product by any means but it really doesn't work for me. I feel like it never absorbs into my skin properly. Or if it does, I feel like it's leaving a weird greasy film on top of my face. I also don't like the scent. I hate that I wasted money on this and am now begrudgingly using it because I need to finish it.

Mizon Pore Refine Deep Cleansing Foam - I saved the worst for last. Words can't describe how much I hate this cleanser. I bought it because I heard it gave your skin a tingly refreshing feeling but it's so mild it might as well be non-existent. But I could deal with that if it wasn't such a horrible stripping cleanser. After using it, I felt like my skin was being pulled apart and it was just such a horrible uncomfortable feeling ugh. Never again. Another total waste.
