Yelp craters 30% as advertisers abandon the site

Yelp is done. Their website is horrible, the interface is a joke, a lot of reviews are manipulated, and simply put they only existed because at the time no one did it better or more convenient. Now Google and Facebook do a much better job than yelp ever did, and appeals to users and businesses, which yelp was very clear that their priority was always the business, even though the only reason a business would advertise on yelp was because people viewed and based decisions on it.

A lot of internet companies are going to fall or be bought out in the upcoming decades. A lot of them simply can’t compete and are unwilling to adjust to the new expectations of web/app services.
