We kinda have the Christian version of Sharia law in America already.

According to Catholicism a civil divorce doesn't end a marriage in the eyes of the church, it takes a church tribunal discerning that the marriage never happened. Isn't that exactly what people say about Muslims (and to a lesser extend Orthodox Jews).

Well, they totally can, but like Catholics, you're kinda exiled from the church for getting a divorce and remarrying. People choose to live under these weird restrictions...just like Jews, just like Catholics, just like the Amish, just like Pentecostals, just like Mormons, etc...
