I watched that movie on Christmas Eve in Afghanistan. I had just returned from R&R, so I was in a bay full of strangers. Unable to sleep and feeling sorry for myself, I decided to watch a kid's movie... God damn that fucking shit. I'm a grown ass man, and here I am crying as quietly as possible because I was 100% BLINDSIDED by this motherfucker deadpan shitting all over this kid's best day ever by dropping the "your bff is super dead and she was a god damned child who died scared and alone and fuck you for being happy for half a day" bomb. That movie killed something innocent in me, something being in A FUCKING WAR ZONE never would have touched. A Bridge to Terabithia can go fuck a dead camel.
