I'd wager that more guys are closet hebephiles than we would think. From an evolutionary perspective, it's not all that abnormal. Thousands of years ago, nobody waited until a girl was an adult; if the grass was green, the field was ready for playing ball, with an added bonus that she hadn't previously had kids with anybody else, so she would solely focus on raising your offspring. However, this isn't thousands of years ago, but it just sucks that the wiring of our brains hasn't caught up with our idealistic sense of morality. That's one of the main reasons that humans suck: the rate at which our brains evolve is so slooowww compared to our technological and societal advancement.
