Yet another "mvm is toxic" rant

I hear those MVM is toxic rants all the time. And yes there are some people who are assholes, as is everywhere. I just leave, right away. someone wants to bully me into playing heavy when I had a pick as different class first? not taking that shit. I just leave if I hear them being shits on the mic, saves everyone grief.

Can I share MVM is NOT toxic stories for once? Because my mvm experience has been mostly positive. See, I use my smissmas ticket to practice in mann up and just leave on the last wave. Which means I am always a 1 tour (no tours completed). And I friggin love playing demo (and soldier). Demo is somehow, apparently is no-no for noobs.

And yet, my teams put up with me as demo all the time, without complaint, even when I die to the darn bowmen. Most time I pull my own weight and either top or second damage. I think I had the engineer rage at me once for not sticking the upstairs for the super scout, but hey still learning.

Team put up with me as a 1 tour sniper on 2 cities.

One time on botbash, I switched to spy from scout because we failed wave 3 twice (I joined on wave 3) and it worked out well enough for the team to insist I stay spy. A sucky lame-o first time spy who died too much to mobs because I got greedy on backstabs, but hey I got the job done on the giants.

Being pocketed as soldier by the medic because the heavy was a pyro on botbash.

It's possible that I experience positive things because the 'meta' classes are still a novelty for me in MVM, but just want to say don't lose hope that fun people play this game mode.

Say fuck those guys, and be on your way. Just keep in mind that you are a noob and be open for advice and criticism.
