As yet another terrorist attack in Britain is prevented thanks to a tip-off:

Have you ever intimately known any evangelical Christians? Only a few may advocate killing Muslims in their home countries but many of them believe Islam itself should be illegal or free speech should be limited so they can ban Muslim religious symbols/the Quran. They support Muslims being deported just for being Muslim. If they're American, they definitely support killing Muslims in other countries simply for being Muslim. (Hell, you don't even need to be around evangelicals to find that. Plenty of people who went to Catholic school with me thought nuking the Middle East was a good idea uniroincally.) I've been told by more than a few Southern Baptists that I should be imprisoned against my will in a mental institution for being queer. There's a significant number of evangelical Christians who believe the US should be a strictly Christian nation and all other religions should be outlawed. If they could, they'd push to ban other Christian sects (particularly Roman Catholicism in certain areas) but anybody with a quarter of brain knows this wouldn't be feasible. A sizable chunk of evangelical Christians and strict Catholics are anti-Semitic and believe the Holocaust was a good thing. The KKK was the ISIS of the 1800s. They may have calmed down some but a lot of their members still believe Jews, Muslims, and all non-Christians should be killed.

Yeah, you can say the situations aren't exactly the same, but don't tell me these people don't exist.
