Yooka-Laylee: 64-Bit Tonic Trailer

Yes absolutely. That's basically what I've been trying to say all along. When this Stretch Goal was first announced during the Kickstarter, people thought it would take the entire game and make it a low poly, N64 version of the World. People were hyped for it, including me, who was a backer of the game.

Now obviously they can't rework the entire game, that was always a touch unrealistic. But if they just redid the character models of Yooka and Laylee as well as the NPC's and enemies in combination with this shader, that would've been awesome.

But the effect alone with the regular character models just doesn't work. It comes off as lazy to me. I can appreciate details like adding fog but it's not enough to justify the 1.1 Million Stretch Goal.
