I totally didn't mean to sound all 'Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego' in my original post title! :) I was on my way out the door this morning to go hiking and saw George W. Satan spewing a bunch of stupid on the--mocking conspiracy theorists. Everytime I see his face I get angry all over again about 9/11.
Facts that Inspired My Hypothesis
In March of 2001; a hero of mine, Bethany McLean, opened a can of worms when she started questioning Enron's financial data. http://archive.fortune.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/2001/03/05/297833/index.htm Jeff Skilling at Enron was very eager and helpful to her...at first. The deeper Bethany McLean fell down the rabbit hole; the more irate Skilking became. She was seen as a threat now and Enron panicked; in August of 2001 Enron employees were forced to stop doing their normal job and start shredding everything. Watch, 'the smartest guys I the room.'
The day the shit hit the fan; everyone was too focused on the two towers from that morning--most still don't know that WTC 7 fell (5:21PM) at a 6 second free fall speed! The building had a built in "panic room" for the mayor and government officials in Manhattan to use in the event of an emergency. It was a strict protocol without questions for these individuals to get to the shelter as quickly as possible. One of the managers in WTC 7 showed up to work that day and the building was empty--an hour before first plane hit. This manager left too in case there was a security issue he didn't know about. Where was mayor Giuliani? He sure was in the streets feeding off of the attention from the press--smiling from ear to ear like nothing was wrong.
Summary:
George W. Satan and Kenneth Lay were lifelong buddies--even grew up together. Enron funded George W.'s Texas governor campaign, and was the highest contributor to his presidential campaign. When Bethany McLean continued her quest for truth--desperate measures had to be taken to drowned out the biggest accounting fraud in history. Enron was so evil that it caused a major electrical blackout in California on purpose--only to lie to people about the electrical grid being overloaded to raise the price of electric. All of the historical data for Enron was about to be subpoenaed; out of fear, they had to be destroyed immediately. These documents were filed away in WTC 7. Bush got his war for oil control, and he got his way out of the Enron scandal.
