I suggest heading to AC and trying out 1/2 cash. It is not like playing cash online and just being a sharp minded 21 year old (hopefully sober) student of the game is enough to put you firmly in the winners category once you get an understanding of how you need to adjust. Low stakes live tourneys are a bit of a trap if you're looking for profit.

I know I was dying for live tournament action at 21, so I know you won't be satisfied until you get your fill, so here is where you should start.

Perfect intro to live tournies IMO. They were my first tournaments as well. Daily tournaments are a joke strategy wise due to their fast structures, but these series let you get some decent play in, and are still done in a single day.

Over time I realized that live cash is a much more convenient and usually more fulfilling way to spend your time, but if you have the hunger and the dream, I know you gotta get out there and experience it yourself, but definitely try playing 1/2 as well.
