I want your take

My biggest issue really was how overpowered she was from the get go. We see other Jedi with wayyy more experience dualing sith and getting absolutely clobbered. The first time Anakin fights a sith in canon he gets his hand cut off and almost killed, and hes cited as a more powerful force user in canon with one of the highest midichlorian counts ever recorded. Rey picks up a lightsaber for the first time and beats the living crap out of Kylo, and yea, he was injured but every time she seems to dual she always comes out on top. She never needs any help and never really loses, and every time she does lose some plot device appears that counteracts her loss(ex. when she thought she killed Chewie, hes actually alive! Never talks about the fact that she used force lightning again rly). It makes her character kinda boring to watch on top of the fact that the sequels for the most part are really just repeats of the OG trilogy. I like Daisy Ridley as an actress, and I think she did a good job portreying Rey, but my biggest issue is that Rey is just stupidly overpowered, even though shes a Palpatine.
