Do you find your Aldi fruit and veg goes off quicker?

When you say treated I think it’s important to mention artificially encouraged to ripen during transit. It’s a method that allows fruit and veg to reach the stores fresher using natural hormones.

It’s not a form of alternative pesticide or anything of that nature. All suppliers (unless strictly organic) tend to use similar pesticides that are approved by regulators.

In fact, I’m willing to bet many of the supermarkets use the same suppliers. I know for a fact some suppliers even sub contact to other suppliers when produce is low and they’re unable to meet contract commitments. How or when they send the products to store however would be specific to the retailers demands.
